Analytical Model tab

Used to select the model annotation style for the members of the analytical model.

SettingDescription
Analytical Members
  • Label Style — Select the label style that you want to apply to your analytical members.
  • Section Label Style — Select the section label style that you want to apply to your analytical model. This label displays the physical member's section data, but it moves with the analytical member. Therefore, if your analytical members are not coincident with the physical members, this section label will be associated with the correct analytical member.
  • Section Profile Style — Select the style to apply to the section profile graphic. This graphic shows where the analytical member's cross section is in the analytical model. It is not coincident with the physical member cross section when the analytical line is located “At placement points” and the placement point is something other than center/center.
  • Member Releases Set Style — Select the member releases set style that you want to apply to your analytical member end releases. The term “set” applies to the three set symbols for fixed end conditions, pinned end conditions, and other end conditions. While member releases are defined for analytical members, they are defined for the ends of analytical members that correspond to the ends of physical members. As such, the symbols are placed only at those locations.
Nodes
  • Label Style — Select the label style that you want to apply to your analytical nodes.
Button controls
  • Apply — Applies your changes to the label styles without dismissing the dialog.
  • Edit — Edit the selected styles. The Edit Model Annotation Style dialog appears with the available settings for the selected style type. (All other style types are disabled except for the selected type —this protects the Structural element data.)
